Heritage Surf Products

Heritage endeavours to stock a great range of labels that represents the overall culture within surfing.

Given the growth of major surf companies over the years, in a great many instances, it has been at the expense of many iconic labels and brands.

It's not that these brands aren't available, it's just that in the competitive nature of the larger companies as we now know them, the small unique labels have been overshadowed - for the larger companies, if they don't make it, they don't stock it.

At Heritage, our goal is to seek and stock as many of these classic labels and brands as is possible and to the best of our ability, maintain their deserved place within our culture.

There are also a great many new and exciting brands with a similar ethos toward the culture and spirit of surfing that we will also stock and support at Heritage.

Posters & Art

Posters and Art are a form that are intrinsically associated with the spirit of surfing, and outside of the posters that Heritage has as a stock line, we will also endeavour to acquire and have available as many posters as is possible that are representative of the culture.

Gary Birdsall

Garry Birdsall was born in Sydney where surfing is a national pastime. He spent all of his leisure time as a youth on the beaches of Sydney. He was one of the pioneers of Malibu surfboard riding, and has participated in numerous Australian and world surfing events. He was the first artist worldwide to do air-brushed paintings on surfboards.

His surfworks of art are genuine, handmade, limited editions which deserve to grace the walls of the best homes in Australia and worldwide. Each artwork is signed by Garry, and carries a numbered Limited Edition Certificate. Ideal gifts for the surfing enthusiast, young and old, on any occasion.

Dick Hoole

Dick Hoole is a photographer / surf movie maker whose history is well documented within movies such as 'Tubular Swells' and 'Stormriders' which go back through the decades. His images and films are indelibly stamped in Australia's surfing culture.

Heritage has available original posters from many of the Hoole and McCoy movies as well as posters from the surf movies that Dick used to tour up and down the coast of Australia.

Paul Witzig

Paul Witzig is an iconic Australian surf film maker, having been responsible for many of the great surf movies over the years, namely 'Islands', 'Rolling Home', 'Hot Generation', 'Evolution' and 'Sea of Joy' to name a few.

Great, limited edition posters from all of these movies are available through Heritage Surf.

Heritage also carries a great range of surfing photographs and images within the classic Bombay Tokay range. There are a great many to chose from with images covering surfing destinations from around the world.
